Ingrown toe nails are very painful and very common. We will assess your problem on an individual basis and will try to ease the discomfort of the ingrown toe nail, if this is very painful for you then a local Anesthetic can be given.
If your nail is continually giving you problems this is a more permanent solution for your ingrown toe nail. This treatment will involve removal of the side of the nail or all of the nail under local anesthetic. A chemical is then applied to stop the nail growing back. This is a planned minor procedure.
Verruca are small lumps on the skin caused by a virus, usually affecting the hands and feet. The virus is commonly found around swimming baths and gyms where communal facilities are used. Seen in people of all ages but children tend to get more verrucae then adults.
Treatment options can be the application of a chemical or needling under local anesthetic. We will discuss these treatment options with you and create a plan to treat the verruca.
